نامزدهای Teen Choice Awards 2018 اعلام شدند : Black Panther ، Riverdale ، Stranger Things و …
این مراسم در تاریخ ۱۲ آگوست از شبکه ی Fox پخش خواهد شد و Avengers: Infinity War، Star Wars: The Last Jedi، Daisy Ridley و Cardi B در بین مهمترین نامزدهای این مراسم حضور دارند.
Avengers با هفت نامزدی در صدر، بعد از آن Black Panther و Star Wars: The Last Jedi با شش نامزدی در رتبه ی دوم و The Greatest Showman، A Wrinkle in Time و Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle نیز هرکدام با پنج نامزدی در رده سوم قرار دارند.
در بخش تلویزیون Riverdale و Shadow Hunters: The Immortal Instruments با پنج نامزدی در صدر قرار دارند و Stranger Things و The Flash با چهار نامزدی در رتبه ی بعدی قرار دارند. نامزد قابل ذکر دیگر Childish Gambino با آهنگ This Is America برای بهترین خواننده ی مرد است. این ترک در ماه می منتشر شد و به سرعت طرفداران زیادی پیدا کرد. موزیک ویدیوی این عنوان ۳۰۰ میلیون بار در یوتیوب دیده شد.
دیگر نامزد بخش موسیقی Cardi B با آلبوم جدیدش Invasion of Privacy است که او را در بخش های بهترین خواننده ی زن، بهترین خواننده ی R&B/hip-hop و بهترین همکاری نامزد کرده است. Drake، Ed Sheeran و Taylor Swift نیز هرکدام در ۳ بخش نامزد هستند. Daisy Ridley و Bella Thorne ممکن است هرکدام برای نقش آفرینی های متفاوتشان در ۲ بخش برنده ی جایزه شوند. Ridley به خاطر بازی در Star Wars: The Last Jedi نامزد دریافت جایزه ی بهترین بازیگر زن فیلم فانتزی است. همچنین برای بازی در Murder on the Orient Express نامزد بهترین بازیگر زن فیلم درام نیز شده است. Thorne برای بازی در Midnight Sun به عنوان بهترین بازیگر زن فیلم درام و برای بازی در Famous in Love به عنوان بهترین بازیگر سریال درام نامزد شده است.
طرفداران از الان می توانند در TeenChoice.com و در توئیتر به هنرمندان مورد علاقه خود رای دهند. این مراسم در تاریخ ۱۲ اگوست در لس آنجلس برگزار و به صورت زنده از شبکه ی Fox پخش خواهد شد.
