تام سلک (Tom Selleck)

توماس ویلیام “تام” سِلِک (Thomas William “Tom” Selleck) (زاده ۲۹ ژانویه ۱۹۴۵ میلادی) بازیگر آمریکایی است. تام سلک نخستین بار در سال ۱۹۷۱ در فیلم The Seven Minutes به کارگردانی Russ Meyer بازی کرده است. گرچه موفقیت این اثر نسبت به آثار شاخص بعدیش مانند فیلم کریستوف کلمب: اکتشاف، بیشتر نبود اما تجربه خوبی برای تام سلک محسوب میشود و همکاری با هنرمندانی همچون Marianne McAndrew، Philip Carey، Jay C. Flippen و Edy Williams را تجربه کرد.
شاید یکی از مهمترین بخشهای بیوگرافی تام سلک بازی در فیلم کریستوف کلمب: اکتشاف بوده است. تام سلک سال ۱۹۹۲ در فیلم کریستوف کلمب: اکتشاف نقش مهمی بازی کرده است که توانست با مهارت خود، آن نقش و همچنین خودش را میان مخاطبان سینما مطرح کند. او در این فیلم با John Glen همکاری داشته است. تام سلک توانست با بازی در فیلم کریستوف کلمب: اکتشاف تجربه بازیگری موفقی برای خود رقم بزند و همکاری در کنار بازیگرانی نظیر مارلون براندو، Georges Corraface، Rachel Ward و Robert Davi بر تجارب او افزود.
تام سلک علاوهبر فیلم کریستوف کلمب: اکتشاف، سال ۱۹۹۹ در فیلم The Love Letter نیز بازی کرده است. تام سلک اینبار با Peter Chan یعنی کارگردان فیلم The Love Letter و هنرمندانی چون کیت کپشا، Tom Everett Scott، بلایث دانر و الن دی جنرس همکاری داشت. در این سالها تام سلک با هنرمندان بسیاری تجربهی کار داشته است اما جالب است بدانید که در میان بازیگران ویلفورد بریملی با ۲ مرتبه، Steve Guttenberg با ۲ مرتبه، Nancy Travis با ۲ مرتبه و Ted Danson با ۲ مرتبه بیشترین همکاری را با تام سلک داشتهاند.
