و سرانجام نامزدهای اسکار ۲۰۱۹ دقایقی پیش اعلام شدند و فیلمهای Roma و The Favourite با انتخاب در ۱۰ بخش مختلف در صدر بیشترین تعداد نامزدی از جمله بهترین فیلم و بهترین کارگردان قرار دارند و فیلم Black Panther که با انتخابش در گلدن گلوب به بعنوان نامزدهای بهترین فیلم همه رو متعجب کرده بود ، در اسکار ۲۰۱۹ نیز به عنوان اولین فیلم ابرقهرمانی نامزد بهترین فیلم شد تا در مجموع در ۷ بخش نامزد باشد.
